Stefano Barberi had an early start time - when the winds were blowing at their hardest - but still managed a 10th place finish.  Chris Baldwin, the 2003 and 2005 national time trial champion, averaged 27.9 mph in finishing third in the 16.15-mile (26 km) time trial.
