International Tour de ?Toona Stage 5
It would be unfair to call Stage 5 a transition day before the ?Queen Stage? of the seven-day, seven-stage race. Toyota-United kept the pressure on race leader Karl Menzies and his Health Net presented by Maxxis team by putting Caleb Manion in a breakaway. When the escapees? lead reached more than 1:20, Manion was in the virtual race lead, which triggered a response from Health Net. The chase was on ? and the freedom the group enjoyed came to an end only 3.1 miles (5 km) from the finish.
