Bend Memorial Clinic Cascade Cycling Classic Stage 3 - July 12, 2007

Chris Baldwin aimed to hang onto the overall lead in Friday morning?s 15-mile (24.1 km) individual time trial. But he came up 13 seconds short, finishing 30 seconds behind stage winner Phil Zajicek (Navigators Insurance Pro Cycling) and 29 seconds behind Navigator?s Ben Day.

Toyota-United?s Heath Blackgrove concentrates on what is certain to be a hard effort over the next 30-or-so minutes. Defending Cascade Cycling Classic champion Chris Wherry awaits his turn to go. He would be one of five Toyota-United riders to place in the top 25.

Burke Swindlehurst was hoping a good performance would move him back in the top 10. And it did. He climbed from 14th to 10th with a 12th place finish.  Ivan Dominguez enjoys the shade of the start house before beginning his effort under a blazing sun.
