Bend Memorial Clinic Cascade Cycling Classic Stage 2 - July 12, 2007
By riding to his second straight runner-up finish and an eight-second margin over previous race leader Ricardo Escuela (Successfulliving.com presented by ParkPre), Toyota-United?s Chris Baldwin assumed the overall lead Thursday at the Cascade Cycling Classic.
Baldwin pulled on the race leader?s yellow jersey at the top of McKenzie Pass, after narrowly losing the final sprint to Ben Jacques-Maynes (Priority Health Cycling Team presented by Bissell). This marks the first time Baldwin has led a National Race Calendar event this season.
