International Tour de ?Toona Team Time Trial Stage 1
One of the most unique races of the National Race Calendar unfolded Monday night in the opening stage of the International Tour de ?Toona. The Stage 1 team time trial featured riders from every team working together to record the fastest time over the 10.6-mile (17.1 km) course that traveled along a soon-to-be-opened stretch of the I-99 Port Matilda Interchange in Altoona, Penn.
Toyota-United registered the second-fastest time of the night, finishing 11 seconds behind Health Net presented by Maxxis. The Navigators Insurance Cycling Team was third, 18 seconds behind Health Net. Toyota-United?s result put all eight of its riders in the top 15 of the overall standings.
